This 6.5 x 14 Curly Red Oak stave snare is built around a bright, defined hardwood voice with punch and clear projection. The 3/8-inch shell supports a focused response, while the 6.5 inch depth provides enough body to keep the drum substantial under hard playing. Its combination of attack and low-mid weight makes it well suited to live settings where the snare must speak clearly without relying on excessive ring.
An Iron Nitrate stain deepens the color and highlights the curled figure beneath a satin finish. Custom Antique Brushed Black Nickel hardware creates a dark frame around Bronze Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber inlays, giving the medium spear-point lugs and port hole a warm metallic accent. Royalton's proprietary lugs are CNC-milled from solid aircraft-grade aluminum and integrated into the drum's one-of-one visual design. Handcrafted in the USA.
