This presentation-grade Curly Maple snare pairs maple's familiar balance and warmth with the enhanced focus of a 3/8-inch stave shell. The 6.5-inch depth gives it enough body for a full backbeat while preserving the sensitivity and tuning flexibility that make maple a dependable all-purpose choice. Its rounded fundamental and controlled clarity make this drum equally comfortable in the studio or onstage.
The shell is dyed pink and protected with a satin finish that allows the curled figure to remain visible beneath the color. Chrome hardware adds brightness, while Pink Juma inlays create a coordinated detail across the medium spear-point lugs and port hole. The result is visually bold without hiding the natural movement of the maple. Royalton's proprietary lugs are CNC-milled from solid aircraft-grade aluminum. Handcrafted in the USA as a one-of-one Royalton instrument.

-
Attack
Rounded, clear, and articulate. The 3/8" stave construction and 16-strand wires allow the natural wood transient to speak quickly, while the roundover edge fattens the initial strike for a solid backbeat.
-
Tone
Warm, balanced, and exceptionally versatile, delivering a full-bodied fundamental that sits perfectly in almost any musical mix.
-
Sustain
Smooth and controlled. The roundover edges naturally tame high-frequency overtones, resulting in an even, musical decay that is highly dependable in studio settings.
