This 7 x 14 Flame Birch stave snare delivers a punchy, balanced hardwood voice with clear attack and a controlled fundamental. Birch is known for defined highs and lows with a slightly reduced midrange, helping the drum speak quickly and remain distinct in a busy arrangement. The 7-inch depth adds body, while die-cast hoops reinforce focus and tuning stability for a strong, performance-ready backbeat.
A blue dye transforms the naturally flamed figure without hiding its movement, and a high-gloss finish gives the shell exceptional visual depth. Chrome hardware creates a clean contrast, while Blue Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber inlays carry the color through the medium spear-point lugs and port hole. The engraved aluminum badge is finished with blue logo text to complete the design. Royalton's lugs are CNC-milled from aircraft-grade aluminum. Handcrafted in the USA as a one-of-one instrument.

Sonic Profile
-
Attack
Fast, punchy, and clear. The 3/8" stave construction and 20-strand wires provide a quick, articulate transient, while the die-cast hoops and roundover edge focus the initial strike for a sharp, mix-ready backbeat.
-
Tone
Balanced, punchy, and scooped. Birch naturally delivers defined highs and lows with a slightly reduced midrange, resulting in a distinct, pre-EQ'd fundamental that speaks quickly and clearly.
-
Sustain
Focused and controlled. The 7-inch depth adds substantial body, while the die-cast hoops and roundover edges naturally rein in overtones, yielding a tight, clean decay that won't clutter a busy arrangement.
